A sweet fragrance of honey slathered onto trees upon the mountainside refreshed the trio's condition.
"Nothing like this for a sidetrip!" Guinevere said happily.
Dratini agreed with a slight movement of its head, and Eevee pranced ahead.
"Personally... I was hoping for some more excitement..." Hydracus (Dratini) said in a low disappointed tone, somewhat timidly.
"And I was also hoping... to evolve..." Eevee suddenly jerked back and stopped moving about.
There was a few seconds of silence until Guinevere went forward.
"If you want to train that much... then I say... let's go and find us some worthy opponments!" Guinevere said.
A low grumble escaped from the ground, and for a second, Eevee trembled as fear lanced up from the ground.
"I'm going to die... I'm going to die... I'm going to DIE!" roared Eevee.
"We're all going to die!" the timid Dratini was prepared to flee for dear life.
"I thought you said that you wanted to train and evolve?"
Guinevere said, somewhat disappointed by her Pokemon partners reactions.
Suddenly, Dratini was shoved to the side by a moving boulder, and a shriek echoed throughout the air.
"Gahhhhhhhhhhhhzzzzzzzz...."
"If you want to become stronger... FIGHT BACK! It's the only way! Guinevere shouted. She turned midway to the trembling Eevee. "Get a grip... And help Dratini! Use Tackle!"
Eevee, being the coward that it was so far, looked down in shame, but when seeing Dratini in deep pain and suffering, it pounced forward and tackled the boulder with full strength. "TAKE THIS YOU MOVING ROCK FIEND!"
"Rude impudent BRATS. And I thought you were not just chickens but some decent Pokemon that were worthy. Guess not." a grumble erupted from the rock, and it turned to face Eevee. "The name's GEODUDE. Not moving rock fiend!."
Eevee made impact and slammed into the Geodude, giving Dratini enough time to escape.
"I think its... payback time Hydrackus!" Guinevere shouted with a confident grin.
The usual timid Dratini was enraged at the attack and was infuriated greatly by the words. It went bezerk in its madness and hurled itself at the boulder. It wrapped its body around its captive and squeezed it tightly. "YOU SWALLOW THOSE WORDS." Dratini's growl was intimidating and the loudest it was ever heard.
The Geodude gurgled, unable to speak clearly because of the Dratini's tight grip. Dratini's anger was smothered, and it released its grasp. Bounding away, the Geodude scowled at the ones that I had defeated it. "You cheaters! Next time its one against one!"
"We're ready whenever you are you moving rock fiend!" Eevee said.
"What did... Did.. I just... do ... that??" Dratini was surprised by its own intense actions and overwhelmed by the sudden surge of strength given to it by its anger.
"Yes. You just did. And you two won that battle. I'm proud of you both!" Guinevere said happily.
"We're both going to become stronger! No doubt about it!" Eevee said happily and with a determined expression.
"And I have complete faith in both of you!" Guinevere said before she realized that Dratini was hurt. "We got to recuperate and give Dratini some time to rest. You two Eevee... That was one serious ... tackle!"
And so the trio continued their journey after a long day of trouble and the ambush of the moving rock fiend...
